Field inspections were carried out both Saturday and Sunday, assuming no further rain this is the decision regarding training and play on Field one and two for this week.
Field one is severely under stress due to the rain and use, there are wide areas of browning grass and to maintain the quality of the field now and for the rest of the season it is closed for training this week.
No team is allowed to train on field one this week, it is open for games only.
Field two had large puddles of water at the goal mouths and was very soggy in the South West corner on Saturday with mud puddles in the goals on Sunday and was clearly unplayable,
Field 2’s penalty area is closed for training this week.

Committee decisions regarding filed use are carefully made and take into consideration Council, Safety, Insurance, Referee’s feedback, and the longevity of use of the fields based on the committee’s long term experience in making these decisions. While we understand the frustration of members when fields are closed please refrain from derogatory comments and understand that we make these difficult decisions in the best interest of the long term use of the fields for all members, and to avoid squandering members fees on Council fines and repair bills.
