ROBINA COMMON ⚽️ Met with City officers and spoke with Paul Rushton of Robina City Soccer Club Inc. about the saturated fields impacting training and weekend sport.Pushing back against Mother Nature will be hard but we are confident there is more we can do to make these fields more resilient.I’ve asked for a plan to be put together ASAP to rebuild fields one and two — with more sand and extra internal drainage.This will be an absolute priority for me.Thanks to the Club for letting me know this is an issue so we can quickly sort it out for the best football club on the Gold Coast. ... As we round out Female Football Week let us introduce you to our youngest all female team: our Under 8s Capri, Elyse, Evelyn, Aria, Aliah, Quinn, Harper and Scarlett. Missing is Lola, Isla and Evie. Only 2 of these girls have played club ⚽️ before so that's 9 new players to our game in one team !
