Robina City proudly hosted the Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) Girls State ID night for the Gold Coast region. 38 players from across the Gold Coast attended.
Thank you Football Queensland and Gold Coast region #yehthegirls

The coaching staff running the event were assisted by a number of our own coaches. Great work by all and fantastic to see the girls loving it!

CONGRATULATIONS Life Member #4 Phil Hallowes 👏👏👏

Life Membership is the highest honour a club can afford its long serving volunteers as an acknowledgement of their dedication, sacrifices, and role in forming and building a club.
At the recent AGM several people were nominated and voted in as Life Members. Each of them will be featured over the next few weeks.

Joining #1 Terry Swift, #2 Leonie Shrimpton, and #3 Paul Rushton is #4 Phil Hallowes. Phil was inducted last night at the 1992-94 Reunion.

Phil attended the very first meeting held to discuss the formation of Robina City, and then became the Founding President. He was involved in choosing the club name, colours and location. Phil continued on as President from formation in 1992 through to 1996. He remained at the club afterward for a number of years where his son Mark continued to play. His other son Anthony also played for Robina in its early years before moving cities.

Thank you Phil, and thank you to your wife Wendy and your children for your commitment to Robina City. Without you and the group that lead the charge our club wouldn’t exist.

Robina City family please join me in welcoming Phil as a new Life Member.

Yours sincerely
Paul Rushton
President
